welcome, welcome, welcome!
dearest class members.
this blog site will serve as a primary communicative resource for our summer computer's courses here at texas tech. i will post updates, assignment changes, information, frequently asked questions, helpful hints and tricks and various and sundry other things here.
it is your responsibility to check this frequently and follow what is posted here. for those of you taking both 2353 and 2354 this summer we will use this blog site for both sections through both summer terms [2353 for summer 1 and 2354 for summer 2]. for those of you only attending 2354 you need not view this until we begin our summer 2 session, however you are free to view the summer 1 content of 2353 as much as you would like in order to gain a feeling for the course we will experience the second half. 2354 will build on what we learn in 2353 and possible even continue the project we start during the first half. worry not you last-halfers, you will be held responsible for content not covered in class [i.e. you won't have to re-do what we did during summer 1].
during the summer we will cover programs such as adobe photoshop and illustrator, autocad, sketch-up, 3d viz, 3d max, form.z and rev-it. obviously that's a lot, so we'll go hard and fast at it, so be prepared to roll day one.
i look forward to seeing you soon and i look forward to us doing some amazing and exciting things in class. feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the course at any time during, before or after the courses actual session. you need not wait until class if you have a question. until we do meet in class, be safe, get rest and come prepared.
